Supporting Your Mental Wellbeing at Work and at Home.

I offer 1-1 psychotherapy, consultations to discuss supporting your loved ones, and bespoke wellbeing workshops aimed at businesses to help individuals and teams navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence.

Hello,

I’m Nathanya, a qualified and BACP-accredited Psychotherapist, working both privately and in public mental health services. I hold a BA (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and a Diploma in Counselling Young People.

Currently, I offer 1-1 psychotherapy to adults and young people, supervision to therapists and other allied professionals, systemic therapeutic support to children and their families, and deliver training sessions and workshops on topics like compassion fatigue, anxiety management, and setting boundaries.

I see clients both online and in person. My in-person sessions are held in London and Reading.

About Nathanya

Approach

My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic models to tailor sessions to each individual — but at the core of my practice is psychodynamic therapy. This modality supports deep, meaningful change by helping people bring unconscious thoughts, patterns, and beliefs into conscious awareness. It's often in these hidden spaces that long-standing struggles — anxiety, low self-worth, relational difficulties — quietly live.

My work is grounded in a strong belief: when people are given a safe, non-judgmental space to reflect, they can develop powerful insights that lead to lasting personal transformation.

Experience

Beyond private practice, I’ve provided therapeutic care within private residential settings for children in care, and spent years embedded in both charity and statutory services. I’ve facilitated support groups, designed and delivered mental health training for professionals, and lead wellbeing workshops for organisations seeking to better care for their people. These diverse settings have shaped a flexible, responsive style of practice that honours the unique context each client brings.

I also work as a Primary Mental Health Worker for Brighter Futures for Children. In this role, I support children and families directly, while also offering reflective spaces and training for teachers, social workers, and caregivers. My aim is always to help those on the front lines — whether parents or professionals — feel better equipped to support the mental health of the young people in their care.

Community

Finally, I’m proud to be the cofounder and director of SafeSpace, a community-led mental health initiative for young adults. It’s an expression of my long-standing commitment to expanding access to care and creating supportive, stigma-free environments.

Whether you're seeking personal therapy, or a partner to support your team’s wellbeing — I bring compassion, experience, and a deep respect for the process of change.
